A carbon fibre composite skateboard deck designed by Absolute Product Design, in conjunction with Gecko Headgear, was ridden into the skateboarding record books on 2nd October 2007.

Martin Drayton set up a slalom course with 50 cones @ 1.6m (5ft 3ins) centre to centre intervals in London’s Hyde Park. Despite it being wet, on his third run he broke the current world record with a time of just 12.83sec. A great achievement – especially in such difficult conditions.
